Tonight marks the first ever AdDrinx Calgary event, spearheaded by the dream-team of Kylene Cheuden (CityTV) and Adrian Urlacher (The Globe and Mail).
Their premier event kicks of in just under two hours at The Living Room http://livingroomrestaurant.ca/about.html at 4pm and industry folks from media, advertising and PR organizations are coming together to share a drink and a laugh as well, raise some money for Aspen Families to help get the kids back to school with some school supplies and loaded backpacks (thank you The Forzani Group).
AdDrinx Vancouver wishes you a great event! Stay cool as we hear it's a scorching 31 degrees there this afternoon.

Summer Nights Success!
Hey AdDrinx Friends!Thanks for coming out last night - it was a tight group of about 30 people and we raised $200 in our 50/50 draw. Congrats to our big winner Tony Ristak - and thanks to our anonymous donor who met our $100 for aspen so we will be contributing $200 to aspen and the kids back to school back pack program.
AdDrinx Calgary will be launching August 26th at West so together we hope to help fill those 50 packs.
Thanks to all our volunteers, Jennifer, Danica, Crystal, Jen and photographer Tom; also, thanks to Sue, Lynne and Julia for some great prizes. And AdDrinx Vancouver, thank YOU for coming out and making it another great night! Watch for photos that will be posted on Facebook in the next day or two.

AdDrinx Summer Nights
Hello AdDrinx Vancouver!
Yes we know it's been too long... we can no longer use the Olympic glow as an excuse to not get us all together for some drinks and laughs.
Come on out! Bring a friend, colleague, potential mentor... find a mentor... ! :)

OPUS Bar in Yaletown (in the OPUS Hotel)

We will have the usual 50/50 draw, with proceeds going to fill 50 back to school backpacks for some children in Calgary (through the Aspen Family & Community Network Society). We'll help AdDrinx Calgary fill the backpacks (very generously donated by The Forzani Group) with new school supplies to get them back to school fully equipped.
We have some new faces to share with you, some fantastic prizing and a lot of great news including the launch of AdDrinx Calgary Thursday, August 26th! Very exciting!

Happy Summer from AdDrinx
Hello Everyone!
AdDrinx has been quiet as Vancouver has exploded through the Olympic Games and the onset of a slow arriving summer. Alas, it's time we get ourselves back together and reconnect with everyone of a drink and a laugh.
We will be having a summer AdDrinx sometime in July so we'll keep you posted. Also, happy to report that AdDrinx Calgary kicks off August 26th so if you know anyone in that market who is interested in some industry fun and frolic, keep checking in. Adrian Urlacher and Kylene Cheuden (past AdDrinx Vancouver Star) are ramping up for a great event!

April 2010 News
Hello AdDrinx Vancouver!
We promised another AdDrinx industry gathering post-Olympic mayhem and we will see through on that promise. Watch for a new date to be announced next week. We also welcome your feedback now that AdDrinx has gone to quarterly get-togethers vs. monthly. And new photos will be posted on the AdDrinx Facebook page soon.
On a very sad note, one of our recipients last year, as you may recall, was a very strong and brave boy named Hunter Thawley. Vancouver's AdDrinx team got behind 'Healing Hunter' to help raise money as the family bound together to fight AML Leukemia. We are very sorry to report that a few weeks ago, our little hero at three years old passed away in the arms of his mom and dad, Lenore and Zen. Our thoughts are with Hunter's family as they try to put their life back together without him. Any donations or wishes can be sent to them directly www.healinghunter.com .

Starlight Foundation is our 50/50 recipient and we will be gathering gifts (toys, gift cards) to help out these kids have a better Holiday Season. OPUS has generously offered each person who shows up with a toy a free drink ticket for a very special AdDrinx/OPUS Holiday cocktail. Fantastic!
